The Core Rules

1. 18+ Only Strictly Enforced

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your country) to access this site. We do not permit minors on StrangerTalks under any circumstances. If you are under 18, exit immediately.

2. Zero Tolerance for Nudity & Sexual Content

No flashing, no nudity, no sexually explicit acts, and no graphic material. Keep your clothes on at all times. This rule is absolute, and violations trigger immediate permanent bans from our network.

3. Your Camera Must Show YOU

If you are in the Video Mode, your camera must clearly show your face in a well-lit environment. Do not point the camera at the ceiling, cover your lens, use fake recorded feeds, or broadcast dark screens. If you don't want to show your face, use the Text Only mode.

4. This Is Not A Dating App

StrangerTalks is designed for passing the time, late-night banter, and making quick connections. Do not immediately join a chat and ask "M or F?", demand personal contact information, or solicit intimate details. Treat matches like people, not commodities.

5. No Harassment or Hate Speech

Respect boundaries. Hate speech, racism, sexism, bullying, or targeted harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Being anonymous is not a license to be cruel.

6. No Advertising or Spam

Do not use StrangerTalks to promote your social media profiles, fansites, commercial products, or direct people to external links. Spamming automated messages in text mode will flag your IP.

How Moderation Works

StrangerTalks relies on a combination of AI-assisted content analysis and Community-driven reporting to keep the platform clean.

• The Report Button: If you match with someone breaking these guidelines, click the "Report" button immediately. This terminates the connection, blocks them from matching with you again, and flags their profile.
• Banning Mechanics: Users who receive multiple valid reports are permanently barred from accessing StrangerTalks routing servers.
• Appeal Process: Due to the anonymous nature of the site, safety bans are strictly automated and generally non-reversible.
